The Learning Spot Child Development Center, Garden Grove

In our center, we believe that the parents are the children's first teacher, and our purpose is to assist parents in the rearing of their children by providing a safe, comforting and creative environment where they will be motivated to learn. We believe that children learn by experimentation through hands-on experiences, positive social interactions with adults and other children, and a well-planned environment; therefore, we provide a balance of teacher planned and child initiated activities. We let the children gear our curriculum by allowing them the freedom to express their interests and choose their own activities in a flexible and supportive learning environment. We understand that play with purpose is the primary and most valuable learning tool for children, which contributes to the social, emotional,intellectual, creative and physical development of the children. At the Learning Spot Child Development Center we believe that all children must be treated with encouragement, respect, honesty, compassion, affection and love. Curriculum is presented to children of all ages, ranging from 18 months to 6 years old. Young children work cooperatively in small groups to reach developmental milestones and school readiness through exploring, experimenting, repetition and well plan learning activities. Our mission is to provide a quality childcare experience that helps your child develop intellectually, physically, socially, creatively and emotionally.
