I'm very thankful to have found KinderPrep Learning Academy. My daughter attended a larger center and we were disappointed in the lack of academic exposure, developmentally appropriate play, and love! At KinderPrep, she has excelled. It is very evident the academic curriculum is at the forefront of this program. Students are receiving small group instruction covering age/developmentally appropriate content. At nearly three, she is able to recognize sight words, retell stories, identify all letters and sounds, and count to thirty. As an educator, I know many kindergarten students who do not enter school with those skills. While there is a focus on instruction, there are sufficient times throughout the day where students can play and foster their social and behavioral growth. With the varying ages, she is exposed to higher level thinking, conflict resolution, oral language, and social cues from students who may be older. Most importantly, Mrs. Sonia truly loves my child. She puts her entire heart into the education and care of my child, and my daughter knows it. This was the biggest gap we saw at a larger center - people were working 8-6 to "keep" my child. Mrs. Sonia invites my daughter into her home to learn and be loved during the day. There is simply no way to measure the feeling of relief that gives me as a working mom.
