Rising Star Daycare, Great Mills

There are two levels to our daycare. The first level will be used for the infants, and 2 year olds. The second level is for ages 3-5. We will be doing reading, math, some creative writing, dancing/P.E, and independent outdoor/indoor play(weather permitting). Our schedule will interchange weekly depending on the needs of the children. I have an educational background with a BS in Early Childhood Education, as well as being a certified family daycare provider through Care Courses. I have worked as a pre-k teacher at one of the local public schools in MD. My co provider, who is also my mother - Joan Phillips-Embrack, is also certified in family daycare both in N.Y and in Maryland. Joan has a BS in Nursing and is currently an LPN nurse. She was the director of her own school in New York City for many years before relocating to Maryland.
