Happy Hearts Children's Center, Herndon

My daughter has been attending Happy Hearts since 2017, I can honestly say that my kid is getting the best care possible. The teachers are wonderful, friendly, caring and keep the kids interested in learning. We are so grateful for everything they do to make my little girl happy. She definitely learned a lot of great things. Thank You Happy Hearts!!!

I love the staff. They treat my child like their own. This is the most affordable daycare in the area and the curriculum is awesome. My child has learned so much while being there.

My daughter has been at Happy Hearts for a year and a half or so (since she was in the infant class). All classrooms/teachers have been great. They kids learn a lot from their teachers. My daughter knew her numbers 1-10, ABCs, different songs and dances, etc before age 2. She now knows her colors too. I appreciate the owner and her staff sooo much. They take great care of all the kids!

When we enrolled our son, everything seemed good. The director was very knowledgeable and has a complete picture as to what she wants for her school and how she wants the kids to learn. But, after a while, we noticed the classrooms to be disorganized and dirty. The bathroom was smelly. Security is also concerning. The kids can go in and out of their classrooms without teacher's supervision (I saw one kid go out one time and told the teacher, and she just told me to just let her go). What if that kid wants to go out? Most of the time, there's nobody at the reception/office desk and the entrance/exit doors are not locked. Anybody can go in and out of the school without anyone else knowing and that is very scary. My son only spent 2 months in this center but he had numerous injuries that NOBODY ever known the cause. Note that my son attended 3 previous schools before this one where he stayed longer in and nothing like this happened before. The last straw was when I picked up my son, who was playing in front of the teacher-in-charge, and as soon as I called him, he showed me his bleeding thumb. I asked what happened and the teacher has no idea. It was a lot of blood to not notice and he was in front of her. And it's upsetting that sometimes they would ask you if I you're sure you dropped off your kid without it yet. SMH. People are not friendly or informative. I always have to ask first how he did for the day, if they notice any improvement from him (told them he is behind his speech/communication skills before enrolled). And they seem to just nod all the time. I like that they try to help them prepare for kindergarten, but everything else is really off to me. 2 weeks after my son stopped attending Happy Hearts, they would still send daily activity updates like my son went in to school. Shows how they don't check their kids and how disorganized they can be. It's unfortunate that we didn't feel safe and satisfied with this center for they have a good idea for how they want to teach the kids. But the security and over all safety they provide for the kids is not good enough for me or our family.

My 2-year old daughter loves coming to Happy Hearts. She regularly has a great day with her teachers and friends.

The teachers are absolutely amazing and so caring. My son is in the caterpillars class and has been in daycare since he was 10 months old (now 14 months). The teachers have been wonderful with him and he has really come to trust/adore them. The children often make crafts that parents can take home and I appreciate knowing that he is having fun and learning! The facility is a little on the smaller side and each class room is one space divided for all of the children to use for play, meals and naps. However, there is enough room for the little ones to move around. It would be an added bonus if there could be additional monitoring at the front desk to watch incoming/outgoing traffic. Overall this is a loving daycare with experienced and caring teachers. I know that my son is being taken care of and nurtured during the day here.

I am very Happy with teachers and the warmth ,care my daughter gets there . Now my daughter loves going there and likes the environment very much .

It would be better if you can improve on the teacher’s selection

I have four kids enrolled in Happy Heart and I couldn't be happier. The kids love going to the day care. The staff are so professional, helpful, friendly and highly organized. The environment is so clean. If you are looking for an amazing place with a dedicated staff and teachers, this is the place! Thanks for the wonderful care given to the kids.

We love the Happy Hearts Daycare. The staff is super friendly and they take care of my child very well. I would recommend anyone to them.
