We are state-of-the-art facility that was recently renovated in 2014 and we are nestled in an upscale residential neighborhood, just minutes from the Medical Center and Downtown. We are a gated and secured facility with security cameras in operation 24/7. Our center includes 8,000 square feet of outside playground, four private, commercial, fully tiled bathrooms (two for adults and two for children), two separate and fully stocked kitchen areas, one for the infant room and one for the toddler and pre-k room, and large windows throughout the center overlooking natural surroundings.
We have four separate pods in our infant rooms and they are divided up based on ages of the infants or their developmental stages. Our Beginner's pod is 6 weeks-6 months; the Wobbler's are 6 months-11 months; the Cruiser's are 12 months- 17 months and the Toddler 1 are 17 months- 24 months. Each pod is equipped with their own diaper changing area, refrigerator, and microwave. Each infant has their own crib labeled with their name so there is no crib sharing, and we provide all the sheets which we wash daily.
The infants implement a curriculum that helps support the different stages of development for each infant. Each week includes a new theme which their art is centered around; the shape and letter of the week, tummy time and sensory activities; stroller rides outside and music time!
In our Toddler 1 class (17 months -24 months) each child has their own cubby to store their belongings and mats for nap time. We provide the mats and sheets which we wash weekly. They have their own diaper changing area with a sink to wash hands.
The Toddler 2 class (2 - 3 year old's) have their own classroom learning environment with access to three different bathrooms for POTTY PRACTICE! They have a set of cubbies and share the kitchen area with the Pre-K class. Both rooms are learning through our specialized STEAM curriculum which is learning hands-on through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Each room has their own schedule that they follow which includes circle time, out door play, technology time, nap time, lunch, literacy learning, music time, art, science experiments, fine motor activities and much, much more!
All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, go through a background and fingerprinting check and must have had previous childcare experience. Each of our teachers obtains 24+ hours of professional development pertaining to the age group they work with. Most of the teachers are moms themselves and have the experience of the developmental stages that are needed for each child.
