About

We are state-of-the-art facility that was recently renovated in 2014 and we are nestled in an upscale residential neighborhood, just minutes from the Medical Center and Downtown. We are a gated and secured facility with security cameras in operation 24/7. Our center includes 8,000 square feet of outside playground, four private, commercial, fully tiled bathrooms (two for adults and two for children), two separate and fully stocked kitchen areas, one for the infant room and one for the toddler and pre-k room, and large windows throughout the center overlooking natural surroundings. We have four separate pods in our infant rooms and they are divided up based on ages of the infants or their developmental stages. Our Beginner's pod is 6 weeks-6 months; the Wobbler's are 6 months-11 months; the Cruiser's are 12 months- 17 months and the Toddler 1 are 17 months- 24 months. Each pod is equipped with their own diaper changing area, refrigerator, and microwave. Each infant has their own crib labeled with their name so there is no crib sharing, and we provide all the sheets which we wash daily. The infants implement a curriculum that helps support the different stages of development for each infant. Each week includes a new theme which their art is centered around; the shape and letter of the week, tummy time and sensory activities; stroller rides outside and music time! In our Toddler 1 class (17 months -24 months) each child has their own cubby to store their belongings and mats for nap time. We provide the mats and sheets which we wash weekly. They have their own diaper changing area with a sink to wash hands. The Toddler 2 class (2 - 3 year old's) have their own classroom learning environment with access to three different bathrooms for POTTY PRACTICE! They have a set of cubbies and share the kitchen area with the Pre-K class. Both rooms are learning through our specialized STEAM curriculum which is learning hands-on through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Each room has their own schedule that they follow which includes circle time, out door play, technology time, nap time, lunch, literacy learning, music time, art, science experiments, fine motor activities and much, much more! All of our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified, go through a background and fingerprinting check and must have had previous childcare experience. Each of our teachers obtains 24+ hours of professional development pertaining to the age group they work with. Most of the teachers are moms themselves and have the experience of the developmental stages that are needed for each child. Beth has worked in Childcare since 2014 working 3 years as a teacher and the rest in administration. She received her Directors License from the Childcare Council of Greater Houston in 2016 and is CPR and First Aid certified. She fell in love with teaching her first year and can't imagine not working with children. We are open Monday - Friday from 6:30 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. and we give tours by appointment only Tuesday - Friday 9:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. and 2:30P.M. - 5:00P.M. so that you can meet the teachers, see the classrooms and watch our program in action.

ove MDCC!! I never thought I would find a place like this. It is like home for my daughter. I really appreciate the work they do every day. All staff is friendly and nurturing. The place is perfectly maintained and clean. Safety is a priority and I always felt secure leaving my kid there. She has been super happy there and she has learnt a lot also: numbers, letters, colors, shapes!!. The patio is spectacular and the kids really enjoy all the activities they do there: free playing, gardening, picnic, soccer shots, etc. Communication with teachers and management is super easy and they always help. There are always events that made our life fun: mother's day, San Valentine's day, Rodeo day, etc. They put a lot of effort in organizing them and they rock!! It is time for us to move to a school. We will truly miss this place...

I made the decision to go back to work and my biggest concern was finding a quality daycare that I could afford. I found MDC and could not be more pleased with them. Cheryl and Sally are fantastic and always available and I love my sons teachers. They have been very helpful and patient with us as we discover daycare and our routine. I highly recommend them!!

I absolutely love MDCC. The teachers are so sweet, organized, and thorough. I feel very confident that my baby is well cared for, and that she's learning and growing better by being there.

I could not have my son in a better facility. He started here 3 months after the facility opened and has grown accustomed to the center and the teachers there. They take wonderful care of him and he is very happy there. The curriculum by far exceeds my expectations. My son is almost three and has learned so much from attending school there. I highly recommend the facility! The teachers are all wonderful with the kids and give them each the attention they need. The curriculum is challenging to my child and he enjoys it and learns a lot from it. He is 2 will be three this fall and speaks clearly in sentences, counts to 20, knows all his letters and colors as well as some words Spanish. I can't imagine having him anywhere else. We are very proud to be part of the MDCC!!!
