I was very unhappy with the way this facility is run. The woman in charge, Tanya, was seen "grabbing" a child by the arms and draging that child to another room, and nothing was done about it. I have also heard from some former teachers that the children are "force fed" their food if they dont eat everything, this includes forcing milk down the child's throat, when they do not want to drink. This complaint has been validated by an inspection that was done in 2016 by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. this report can be found online at www.michigan.cov/lara. The problem, however, did not resolve after the investigation, as I have recently been told by an employee, currently working at the center, that this problem continues daily and involves the MANAGEMENT of the facility participating in this abuse. In addition to this, my son had bruises on his arms on TWO occasions while he was in the care of this facility, as well as another child in my son's room. I was told by another employee at the center that Miss Tanya is "known for" being very rough with the kids, and has been seen "grabbing" the 2 year old children on numerous occasions when she was frustrated with them, on one occasion it was noted that Tanya locked a 2 year old in a dark room for AN HOUR bc that child would not drink her milk. This is horrible behavior.
