With Tuachan's high standards, one who believe that their child care would held to the same standards. When they said that their teacher to infant ratio was 1:3, I didn't think that my 7 month old daughter would've mixed in with children up to the age
7. Luckily the oldest child there was possibly 3. I do not believe that the facility is capable of holding 22 children as the square foot per child is 35. When walking in you will find a large projector screen with 3 infant bouncer seats lined up, 3 rocking chairs that can smash crawling fingers, a nursing chair in a storage room and not quite sure where the cribs were located. When the teachers finally buzzed me to come assist them with my daughter during intermission, she was strapped into a double stroller crying, like I have never heard her cry before. Her eyes were puffy and red. She held on to me so tightly. The staff were not soothing her at all. One had an infant strapped to her, helping a child, one was chasing three toddlers around the small area. One child was crying in an exersaucer. Needless to say the following Thursday, my daughter and watched Peter Pan from the plaza on the monitor, while the other 8 members of my family were in watching the play. I refused to put my daughter through that experience again and yes, I had. Ticket to the show.
