Bright Minds Learning Center, located in King George, VA, was founded in 2013 with the ideal of creating a place where children can obtain an outstanding quality of care and education. We know that children learn best when they are actively engaged. We recognize that children are naturally curious. We know they learn critical science, math, reading and writing concepts through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities. The lesson plans created by the staff at Bright Minds Learning Center gives children the guidance – and the freedom – to construct their own body of knowledge in ways most meaningful to them. We believe that all children are talented, capable and special, whether they enjoy music or math, whether they want to be a doctor or a gymnast. And because we know that children learn best when they are actively engaged, we make available to them a number of activities to involve them in concepts, and to empower them to find the ways to learn. Then we provide plenty of space and time to explore, along with lots of support, love and, of course, fun. The priority of our teachers is to develop a comfortable relationship with all children in their classrooms. A relationship of trust and caring frees children from focusing on competencies and helps them move on to the next stage of development. We Open Early! BMLC opens at 6:00 a.m. and does not close until 6:30 p.m. which serves the varying shifts of working and busy families.
