Lawrence Montessori School offers full-day child care and preschool preschool programs. Our tuition includes all meals and extracurricular activities, in addition to our highly-rated Montessori program. Please call us or send an email to schedule a visit. We used to live in Lawrence for 2 years and our daughter used to attend LMS. She was so happy and she has learned everything before elementary school. So we felt so comfortable when she was at the school as a parent...Thank you for everything, we will not forget you in our life...

We have been so pleased with our decision to switch to Lawrence Montessori for our daughter's preschool education. The Montessori method for early childhood education emphasizes independence; empowering and building self-esteem in children and has been a perfect fit for our daughter. The teachers are amazing!

Wyatt is my third child at Lawrence Montessori School; his siblings graduated a few years back and moved on to make incredible strides partly due to their Montessori background. As is often the case, each of my three kiddos is radically different from the others. And, the teachers and staff at LMS handled everything the kiddos brought to the table (both good and a bit not-so-good) with ease, professionalism, grace, and respect. I am incredibly grateful for everything LMS has done and continues to do for our family. I strongly recommend LMS--the teachers, facilities, curriculum--it's all top-notch. Thank you so much!

Our child has been happy and productive at Lawrence Montessori School. She is reading and counting, planting a garden, playing with friends, singing, dancing and so much more. She is mindful of her role as a friend to others, and we trust her teachers as caregivers to our beloved child.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Lawrence Montessori School! Our daughter has been with LMS for more than four years, now. She is a happy, healthy, well-adjusted child, and we feel like LMS is a fabulous partner in her personality and development. Actually, they are more like our family members. Logistically, I don't know HOW they manage to give our child so much individualized attention, but my wife and I are constantly amazed. The educational curriculum is wonderful and perfectly applied to our daughter. The building and outdoor areas are clean and maintained. We appreciate the exposure she gets to music, dance, art, language, etc... But most importantly, the culture is great, the people are ALL positive and loving, and our daughter (our family) could not possibly have found a better fit!

This is a wonderful school. It was created several years ago, so the facilities are state of the art and each room has a great teacher to student ratio. The yard behind the school is big and has great equipment. I highly recommend it!

Our son began attending LMS at 8 months of age and had been a student there for 5 years. Words cannot describe how happy we are at LMS. The quality of education surpasses any other school of its kind in Lawrence. The owner, Purvis Burdie, is an amazing educator. My son is currently reading "big books" due to her incredible teaching skills. The staff is top-notch. It's a close knit school and its employees truly care about your child's well-being. The school is housed in a state of the art building which is flawless. My son is exposed to art, music, and fun physical activities, aside from the quality Montessori education. Attending LMS was one of the best decisions my husband and I have made as parents. Purvis and her staff have provided my son with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. LMS has prepared him 100% for post-kindergarten years!
