Imagination Child Care, Litchfield Park

Imagination Child Care is an innovative preschool center in Litchfield Park (Camelback and Dysart). Imagination Child Care is State licensed and inspected. We strive on creating an environment where children receive quality care, nurturing support and personal attention. We use several different curriculum to teach and have great success. We participate in the Empower program. Our amazing staff will partner with parents to foster social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth through creative activities. Convenient to Luke Air Force Base, Avondale, and Goodyear. All of our teachers have a minimum of 2 years experience and maintain continuing education. We utilize the Arizona Early Learning Standards to create a learning environment tailored to children’s individual needs. Children explore a wide variety of academic, social, physical, and emotional learning experiences. These experiences are enhanced by offering different learning themes each month, with a changing number and letter focus each week. We also utilize the Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum which draws from years of innovation and research to provide developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory tools and strategies for teaching. The program follows research that demonstrates children learn more effectively by actively doing, with materials that address all styles of learning. It allows children to feel successful no matter their ability level. The result truly is handwriting without tears!  We teach fundamental math concepts in age appropriate ways, including free exploration of math manipulatives and materials. The children will learn patterning, sorting, classifying, counting, comparing, graphing and number concepts.  All aspects of our curriculum are designed to build and complement each area of learning in a way that is fun and engaging for children of all ages. The children will experience both structured and non-structured activities, indoors and outside, throughout the day. We want children to play with a purpose and build a love for learning that will remain with them throughout their life.
