Young Horizons Child Development Program works to nurture the whole child and provide an environment that enables children to develop their self-esteem and achieve their potential. All of our teachers are certified and meet the requirements of the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. They are also required to continue their education to further their teaching abilities. We provide: -Full-day, full-year Subsidized Childcare from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 5 sites. -Subsidized program fees established by State of California sliding-fee scale. -An Infant/Toddler program for children starting at 6 months old -Half-day Preschool enrichment program (FREE for qualifying families) at 2 sites -FREE Food Program - provides nutritious breakfast, lunch, & snacks daily - Young Horizons is an equal opportunity provider and employer. -LOW teacher to child ratios: - Infant: 1 to 3 - Toddler: 1 to 4 - Preschool: 1 to 8 - Multilingual staff Young Horizons is a licensed child care center in Long Beach, CA with the license issued by the L.
