IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING LITTLE LAMBS READ THIS.
Long review - but worth the read if you're considering this daycare. I wish I would have known this information/saw an honest review before signing with them.
My review is based solely on the infants/babies room 1 & 2, along with my contact with the owners and "admin." In the 4 months my child attended, we went thru over 12 teachers for the room.
•The teachers have NO experience with child care. Teachers come and go so quickly here, it makes you really wonder why....
•They lose everything. They lost countless bottles and pacifiers, clothes, blankets. Very disorganized. My breast milk was sent home with other parents! Literally full bottles with my child's name on it. How do you know your child is getting the milk they are suppose to get?!
•If your child is on an eating schedule, this is not the daycare for you. Several staff members told me the owners tell them to give a child a bottle if they cry even a little, no matter how long it had been since last feeding. Basically instead of consoling your child for whatever the reason of crying, they just give a bottle instead.
•The owners, especially Leah Sherrill, and staff are disrespectful to the parents, so you can assume how they are treating your children behind closed doors. Yes, they have been bragging about their security system, but it's the same security system that you cannot get into and watch, and there are still several places the cameras do not get in the building.
•I had SEVERAL conversations and meetings with the "admin" and the owners, Leah and Lynn, about the care my child was getting and how many things were getting lost. And our last day at the daycare Leah STILL did not remember any of our conversations and meetings. These conversations regarded specific issues about the daycare that she was "going to take care of".
•They cannot keep track of payments. They never know who is paid up and who is not. Not sure how a business CANT keep a financial record????
•Staff talks ugly about other staff members. Several times I overheard other staff talking about the other people in the building badly. Does this affect my child? No. But it makes you wonder about the environment the business is housing. I have now read several reviews on different websites from previous employees talk about how bad the environment was working with the owners and in the building.
There's a reason they always have openings when every other daycare in Midland is full with a year long waitlist..... keep your kid safe.
