Starbright is a German-English bilingual play-based daycare with educational structured activities. We are dedicated to fostering an engaging environment filled with exploring, learning, and fun. Children will participate in activities such as: circle time, arts and crafts, music time, free play, outdoor play, story time, gardening, kid's yoga, and learning about food, all based on a monthly theme. Children also enjoy healthy organic snacks and organic home-made lunches, which are included in the tuition.
We foster a joy for learning through sensory-based experiences and are building the foundation for a child's eagerness to learn. The social development skills learned here will aid your child throughout their entire lives. Through respect for a child you can build self-worth, positive self-esteem and self-reliance.

I have known Silke Rodoni for almost six years, during which time she cared for our older daughter as a toddler, as we awaited the birth of my second daughter. When my second daughter was four months old, I went back to work, and she cared for both of my girls. Silke treated my children with love and meticulous care as if they were her own family. With her background in health and childcare, she gave me informative feedback about my girls daily, as well as her occasional concerns. Silke is a natural when it comes to taking care of children, and while my girls are both school age now, I would always trust her to take the best care of them. Now that she has become a mother herself, I imagine she has gained even more knowledge and firsthand experience. I highly recommend her as a childcare provider without hesitation.

We absolutely loved our time with Silke and are so grateful for everything she did to make our two years with her magical. We still keep in touch and visit, and we consider ourselves part of the StarBright family with many other lovely families. Our child gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, life skills, and manners at StarBright. Silke has a detailed daily routine and offers fun activities like gardening, yoga, cooking, etc. The children love playing with Bailey the dog who is a key part of the the StarBright family as well! Her house and detached classroom are safe, clean, and full of child-appropriate activities. The combination of the family-like setting of a home-based daycare and the structure of a preschool at StarBright prepared our child very well for school both academically and socially. Silke teaches the children German and introduces them to German traditions which is an added bonus. We feel very fortunate to have found Silke when she first started out and will always fondly remember our time at StarBright.

I started taking my son to Silke's daycare when he was 2 and this is honestly one of the best decisions I have ever made. Before her, I had gone through 2 other daycares and was desperate for quality childcare. Silke was a godsend. Her warmth, professionalism and kind heart were apparent immediately. She took care of my son like one of her own- he was given plenty of love and attention on a daily basis. She would go above and beyond for the kids and families- from making the highest quality foods for lunchtime to inventing imaginative games and play. I am truly thankful that she was able to have my son in her school for nearly 2 years. It made all the difference for his continued development and my peace of mind. I could not recommend her highly enough!

We've had a great experience at Starbright Silke’s home based daycare! Silke and Marina are such a loving lady that we've really seen our daughter blossom under their care. They are very careful to create a loving environment for the children with a great structure and routine. The children learn to become independent while playing thoughtfully and eating respectfully .It has been a great safe, fun and educational environment for her.
I would highly recommend Starbright to anyone who wants a warm, loving, fun and supportive environment for their little one to flourish in.

Great place! Fun backyard with a beautiful classroom that the kids enjoy. My kid was sad when we had to leave everyday and excited for the next. Loving environment with a play based learning style.
