Kinder Chicks Preschool & Kindergarten, North Hollywood

Kinder Chicks Preschool and Kindergarten accepts children 18 months to 6 years of age. Our school uses a large variety of concrete learning material that is relevant to a child's life experience. We provide experiences that meet the children's needs and stimulate learning in all developmental areas: cognitive, physical, social and emotional. Our program provides children with activities that help develop their gross and fine motor skills and gain valuable eye-hand coordination. In our program, children will be engaged in activities such as writing, drawing, coloring, pouring, buttoning, painting, jumping and running (outside. play). The gross motor skills developed during early childhood are the basics for sports, dancing and other activities that begin-during middle childhood and may continue for a life time. Gains in tine motor skills allow young children to take more responsibility for their personal care.
