Welcome to Olney Mill Children's Den, our licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Olney, MD. We’re located in the Olney Mill neighborhood, right off Olney Mill Rd. Our home is very accessible to commuters since we’re just a few minutes’ away from Olney Laytonsville Rd (route 108) and Georgia Ave (route 97). Perfect for your daily commute to work!

I’m the owner and main caregiver of this intimate family child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed caregiver with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and CPR & First-aid certifications. I’m also a Certified Nursing Aid and before I opened my own daycare, I worked as an assistant nurse in private home care. I run my daycare with my assistant who has a Master's Degree in Biology. We’re both parents so we can certainly relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding the best care for your child. At our daycare, we provide quality yet affordable care to help families in the area.

Olney Mill Children's Den is a Play-based early learning program. We’re open all year from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We provide lunch and snacks to all kids attending my program (the cost of food is already included in the tuition). Our child care facility is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to prevent any possible allergies. Our daycare is very clean and bright and has a good selection of age-appropriate toys, learning materials, and books.
