Oakridge's Preschool program was developed with inquisitive three, four, and five-year-olds in mind. Our programs encourage development of basic concepts and skills in an environment where children and teachers answer questions together. Simple experiments, hands-on explorations, and art creations enable the children to learn about their world first hand. The blend of whole and small group activities helps meet the individual needs of the children on a daily basis. Our program is designed to support optimal physical, social, emotional, and creative development. It provides advanced educational experiences that develop readiness skills in language and literacy, and mathematics, social studies and science activities allow the children to learn about their community as well as the physical world in which they live. An essential part of the curriculum in the preschool classroom; the children will have fun learning. In addition to our preschool curriculum, Mandarin Chinese is also offered as an enrichment class.
