Safety
This daycare is ran in a very unprofessional way! There were several incidents that occurred on the premises that was not reported. Once the children are potty trained, they must leave the classroom, walk outside and go to the end of of building to use the bathrooms. The classrooms have a very nasty smell as if the facility is not properly cleaned. The children toys are constantly dirty and not wiped off at the end of the day. One morning, I dropped my child off at the center and another child was playing with a box of toys. When I put my child down to play, I looked inside of the toy box and it had dust and dirt at the bottom and on the toys. At the time, my child was eating homemade baby food that I prepared daily at home. On her first day, the director asked if my child could eat her food cold because the center was unable to heat up her food in the microwave due to "policy" which was not written in the handbook. The director did not attempt to accommodate my child's needs nor offer any suggestions. When I asked her what were my options in regards to my child's food, I was told "I don't know, so let me know what you want to do". As a result, I sent my child to school everyday with warm food that was kept in a thermo. Kids were allowed to stay in school if they were running a fever or showed signs of an infection such as runny green or yellow mucus which increased the chances of spreading the infection to other children. Also, the first few days, my child would come home with the same amount of milk and food that I packed in the morning. Which means my child did not eat or drink all day (8.5 hours). When I asked her teachers why she didn't eat or drink, they said she refused to do so. I believe she wasn't given any milk or water or food. Without the milk, my child cried herself to sleep. Some of the staff appear to hate their job! I would not recommend this daycare!
