Harps Mill Creative School, Raleigh

We have an open door policy so parents and visitors are welcome at all times. You may visit the center any time during operating hours or you may make an appointment. Due to the volume of parents dropping off in the morning and picking up at night the best time for an unscheduled visit is between 9AM – 4PM. The center director, Amanda Kowski, has been at the center since September 2011. Amanda holds a B.A. and M.A. Ed degree in Early Childhood Education and 14+ years in the field of child care and development. You may speak with her, or one of our other office staff will be glad to give you a tour and/or answer any of your questions. Our hours of operation: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 6:00 pm Harps Mill serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. All caregivers are trained in Early Childhood Education and everyone in the center is required to be certified in CPR and First Aid. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are provided each day. Harps Mill Creative School is an exceptionally clean facility built specifically for child care. There are large view windows in every classroom so that parents and visitors can observe the daily activities without interrupting the classrooms. Cameras located in each classroom allow the Director to observe the classrooms on a monitor in the center's office. Our curriculum varies depending on the age of the child.
