Memories Begin Here, Rockville

Fantastic provider! We love Cristina and "Memories Begin Here". Cristina (and her mom, Maria) work hard to create a warm, loving and nurturing environment. Both of our children thrived in their care, and we always felt comfortable dropping them off for the day. On the rare occasion that I was stuck getting home late from work (terrible DC snow storm), she treated my little one like one of her own! I highly recommend her family child care.

Our son is almost 2.5 years old and has been with Christina and her mom Maria since he was 3 months old. They truly are like a second family to us- the kids even call Maria "Grandma". Casey has thrived and learned so much in their care! Christina always keeps me updated throughout the day with text messages and pictures of Casey playing and having fun with his friends, and learning new skills with the pre-k curriculum. They enjoy lots of outdoor time and go on walks during the nice weather, piling all of the kids in the big 6-seater stroller. They provide healthy meals and snacks and miraculously get him to eat foods that he won't even touch at home! Christina and Maria really love all of the kids at daycare and treat them like their own children. When we are gone for the holidays or if he is home sick, Christina will text to check in and see how Casey is doing. As a new parent, it was nice that Christina would listen to me vent about any difficult phase we were going through and kindly offered advice or reassurance that we were doing the right thing. I don't know how I would have made it through these challenging early years without this daycare, and we look forward to bringing our second child early next year!
