Step by Step Daycare, Seattle

Our program started on April 2001 and we are licenced for 12 children between birth and 11 years old. Before enrolling your child at Step by Step daycare I like the parents to visit the daycare with their child. Places are reserved on a first come basis. We have 2 qualified assistants who are trained in CPR-First Aid-HIV awareness and study in the yearly STARS program hours required by the State of Washington. Our facility is clean and we provide a warm home environment and plenty of supervision where your kids can play, run, , sleep, be creative and explore. Spanish: Learning language is a natural process when children are young. Experts agree that introducing children to foreign languages should begin as early as possible. The earlier, the better! I am originally from Panama and our main language is Spanish. I have been married to Dan for 16 years and a Mother of 2 . Dylan is now 17 and is fully bilingual. He can read and speak spanish. we are currently working on his writing skills. One day he can use these skills and have many opportunities. My baby Sasha is 11 and she understands spanish very good and she likes spanish music and they are my reason to be a daycare provider. I have been working with kids for the last 18 years and have taken many hours of training acredited by Washington State in Early childhood Education. I recently completed a CDA acreditation. (Child Development Associated).
