One of the most difficult decisions parents have to make is whether or not to place their child in daycare. For many it's not a choice but a necessity mandated by financial need or career demands.
We are a fully licensed child care center providing a safe and nurturing environment, where children thrive and flourish. We focus on providing each child the caring, attentive, individualized care and age-appropriate interactive activities they need to be happy, health and well socialized.
Kids At Play Child Care Center reflects the interests of the whole child. We enhance physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of all ages of children. Our goal is to provide a positive role model for the children by using positive reinforcement, praise and redirection. We ensure a strong and stable, yet flexible environment for children to learn as individuals.
Learning by doing
We believe that children learn by doing and exploring on their own. We provide many open-ended activities to help this learning process. Children will also be introduced to different forms of Art, Science, Cooking, Music, Puppetry, Stories, Dramatic Play, Movement and Math Concepts. These will be introduced during Small Group Time through activities such as: games, books and art activities based on themed units.
Fully trained professional staff
Teachers all have State Required training in Early Childhood. As well as training in American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR, First Aid, SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome and Child Abuse and Neglect Awareness.

Our staff continue their education to learn the latest ideas, teaching techniques and communication skills. All of this education is used to help enrich your child's life.
