Carmen Rodriguez Family Child Care, Thousand Oaks

I had two children in Carmen's daycare. My first one started at age 1, and the second one started at 6 weeks of age. They were there until they started Kindergarten and TK, respectively. Both of my children loved going to "Carmen's house". They called it their school because they actually learned there. They learned numbers, colors, letters, seasons, songs. Carmen has age-appropriate curriculum for the different kids. One of my favorite parts was that they potty train the children! I was lucky I didn't have to do it myself. Her assistant is very good with the kids. The kids really liked her. They keep the house clean. After having had my oldest child and my second child in different daycares, I can say that this was the best daycare where I had my children. When your kids are excited to go to daycare and even forget to say "bye" to you when you are leaving them, you know that they really love their "school".
