Legacy Learning Center & Preschool is a year-round center in Van, TX. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide snacks.
At Legacy, we offer a variety of lesson plans and hands-on activities designed specifically for each age. Our teachers incorporate various philosophies and teaching concepts in order to meet the needs of children at different ages and learning levels.
Communication is very important to us. We understand that parents want to know what happens during their child’s day while they are in our care. We welcome conversations between parents and teachers any time, daily, weekly or monthly.
Young children move, move, move. Trying to get a young child to sit for any length of time is challenging. Babies/children reach out to explore things around them. It is through this initial interaction with their world that children develop a sense of curiosity that leads to learning. Children learn best when they are engaged in exploring the world around them.

Tressia had my first child in her home as soon as he turned 12 weeks old in 2010 until he was 3. We moved and when we came back she had moved on to a different adventure. She was an absolute God send. Fast forward to 2016 I had my second child and was so sad we couldn't have her. When she told me she was opening Legacy, there was no doubt in my mind, my little one would be starting with her as soon as their doors opened. Theres not a place in the world I would rather have my children. Jentry gets excited to go to school every single day. Even on the weekends, she asks to go to school. The staff is amazing, cleanest facility you will ever walk into. I highly recommend this facility to anyone of all ages. We also love Miss Stacey. She is so patient and Jentry loves her and talks about her on the weekends. That speaks volumes because my child is a hard to handle, very dependent, defiant child. We couldn't be any more happy here.
