About
The curriculum at Wesley is based on currently accepted early childhood principles and supplemented by United Methodist curriculum literature. It is developmentally appropriate. Each classroom offers centers that are stimulating and fun. Play is an integral part of the curriculum: science, mathematics, language arts and social science. In the loving environment of the preschool, the uniqueness of each child is celebrated. Opportunities are provided for each child to grow and develop to the fullest during the vital preschool years.
Wesley United Methodist Preschool is a nonprofit organization, established in 1957 to minister to young children and their parents. It offers planned experiences to enhance the ongoing development of young children. In an atmosphere of love and acceptance, children grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually. Each child is celebrated as a unique individual as he/she develops confidence and feelings of self worth.
Note from CareLuLu: Please note this child care program has a License-Exempt status, it is not State Licensed. States have different licensing regulations, but in general, not all child care programs are required to have a license. License-exempt facilities can operate legally without a license, and have typically received permission to do so (this is different from a child care provider who is legally required to have a license but does not have one). License-exempt programs (such as Religiously exempt facilities or Certified preschools) are typically exempt from some of the mandatory State license requirements.
Disclaimer: the licensing status was checked when this listing was created. We do our best to keep information up-to-date, but cannot guarantee that it is. You should verify the license/permit/registration status before enrolling in any child care program.
