LittleLiving Nature School embraces a child centered view inspired by Reggio Emilia and Forest School principles so kids can BE. We offer play, nature and art based Preschool - Kindergarten Seasonal Sessions to children ages 2 years - 5 years; Summer Camps to children ages 2 years - 6 years old; Afternoon Art Sessions to kids ages 2 years - 10 years and 2 hour adjustment/playdate versions of each for ages 18 months - 3 years in the Vista, Carlsbad and North County San Diego area. Our CA licensed small family daycare provides child scaled furnishings, blocks of time, natural interactions and hidden delights to make the environment child centric and just their size to encourage maximum experience at and on their level. Emergent curriculum uncovers the children's interests and the pathways through which to best immerse them in learning. Preschoolers focus on development and refinement toward mastery in fine/gross motor skills, knowledge of written and numerical symbols, language and reading, social skills, a desire to learn, respecting and caring for our natural world and readiness for all subjects in kindergarten and in life. Children explore, discover, learn and delight while playing with peers in an outdoor garden setting. Our keen observation and collaboration ensures your child develops a strong educational foundation and meets important developmental milestones.
