Days With Miss Katlin

I take children ages 2yrs- 5yrs. I earned my cda (child development associate) in 2009 and renewed it this year. I am certified in cpr and first aid. Days With Miss Katlin is a small in-home state licensed preschool. Our primary focus is learning, while having fun. With the small number of children we are able to have the home away from home feeling. With our schedule we have the freedom to pick extra activities we would like to do, which might include a game, more outside time, a field trip or a simple walk. The children also have a larger opportunity to explore with food, as most of the meals served have a hands-on preparation, and the children enjoy helping. The children have more one on one time with me as a teacher to work on them as individuals. Our goal is to teach children to communicate with one another, how to play well with each other, along with the basic teachings of preschool. We offer a safe home-like feel at Days With Miss Katlin. We like to remind kids to just be kids, remembering simply, that children learn best though play.
