Parkway Little Kids Playhouse is a small licensed child care and preschool program in Arlington, VA. Located in the Parkway neighborhood, my child care facility is between Shirlington, Green Valley, and Long Branch Creek, with easy access to major roads like I-395 and S Glebe Rd. I am the proud owner and main caregiver at this intimate in-home daycare. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and 8 years of experience in child care and early education. I started my own daycare in 2016, inspired by my previous experience as a teacher in India and as an assistant in a Montessori school after I moved to the US. I am fluent in both English and Hindi, and I can teach the Hindi language upon parent request. I love my job because it fills my days with joy and purpose! Caring for children is not just my profession; it's my passion. I believe in providing undivided attention to each child, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment. At Parkway Little Kids Playhouse, your child will receive the same love and care as if they were my own.

At Parkway Little Kids Playhouse, I offer full-time care from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (starting with newborn babies until 5 year old). I also provide before & after school care for children up to 12 years old (my facility is very close to Charles Barrett Elementary School). I know how important it is for children to have nutritious meals throughout the day. At Parkway Little Kids Playhouse, lunch and snacks are provided to all enrolled children and are included in the tuition. All meals are peanut and tree-nut free to ensure the safety of all children with allergies.

My curriculum is designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in children of all ages. I follow a play-based learning approach combined with the Creative Curriculum to ensure that every child has the opportunity to explore, discover, and grow. The daily program includes Arts & Crafts to encourage creativity and self-expression, as well as a variety of play activities to promote physical development and social interaction.
