Students at New Hope Academy can begin their educational journey in the Preschool, ages 3-5 years. With a full curriculum, extended day program taught by highly qualified, degreed teachers, this represents the best practices in the field of early childhood education. A fully structured day (7:15am - 6:00pm) includes lessons in pre-reading, pre-writing, social studies, science, math, art, and music. Lessons are fun and taught through play, with ample recess and free-play time for exploratory hands-on learning. The exceptional level of personal care your child receives creates an atmosphere that fosters development of intellect, character, emotional self-control and heart. New Hope Academy's YOUNG EXPLORERS Preschool Program provides a safe and loving environment while stimulating your child's curiosity. Each session is filled with projects and activities related to a weekly theme. Explorers visit a local splash park and venture out on a field trip or experience an in-house special activity such as a petting zoo or puppet show. Water play, arts and crafts, cooking, story time, singing and lots of outdoor play create a healthy and memorable summer for your child. Explorers must be fully potty trained. The program is open to the community for ages 4 and 5. 3 year-olds must be enrolled for the school year to participate.
