International Playgroup provides a warm, loving, homelike environment in which children gain a sense of security and develop self-esteem. On a daily basis, we practice major developmental areas, such as emotional and social skills. At International Playgroup, we celebrate the uniqueness of each child and appreciate the fact that children develop at their own pace.
Our daycare was licensed as Zo's Family Daycare in 1990. In 1998 it was relicensed as a small center and the name was changed to International Playgroup. The center is licensed to provide care for children 18 months to 3 1/2 years old.
The curriculum at International Playgroup is based on the Montessori philosophy. Children are given the opportunity to develop at their own pace in a mixed age setting and are given educational materials that spark their curiosity.
