Welcome to Jardin de Niños! Family Child Care, my bilingual Spanish home daycare and preschool in Round Lake Beach, Illinois! About Me: I’m the owner and lead teacher of this nurturing child care and quality early childhood education program. I have 8 years of experience and I hold a Child Development Associates Degree. I’m CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained so if needed, I can administer medication all children in my care. Safety and cleanliness are a top priority in my daycare and I have up-to-date EHS credentials (Environment, Health & Safety). I always make sure to stay on top of every one of my children’s needs and I provide an over-the-top clean and sanitized environment. I even received a letter of recommendation from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, indicating that: "She has demonstrated that she is an excellent day care provider that provides a safe and nurturing environment for the children in her care." I'll be happy to show you the letter when you come for a visit :) Curriculum: Children learn best through play, so I follow the Play-based learning approach and use the Creative Curriculum. My curriculum is tailored to each student’s needs and developmental stage, and focused on manners, problem-solving and character building. I have daily fun activities in store for my students such as Arts & Music, Computer and Physical Education and weekly educational subjects (Reading & Writing, Math & Science and Foreign Languages). In addition to English, I speak Spanish fluently and upon your request, I can expose your child to this foreign language. Program: My daycare and preschool is open year-round from 4:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I offer various options to accommodate your families’ child care needs: full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. Drop-in care is also available for your occasional needs and in the summer, I offer a fun summer camp program! Before and after school care are both available to school-age kids, up to 12 years old (my home is close to Beach Elementary School and Avon Elementary School). We can provide transportation to certain schools (please inquire to confirm if we can transport to your child's school - the cost of transportation is already included in the before and after school care tuition). Snacks are already included in the tuition and served to all kids attending my program. I can also provide lunch with an additional fee (please email to inquire). Location: Jardin de Niños! Family Child Care is located in Round Lake Beach IL, right off E Rollins Rd and Hainesville Rd, near East End Park and Gateway Park.
