About

At Early Steps Learning, we believe that play is the foundation of learning and growth. Our play-based curriculum emphasizes the development of critical social skills that help children build a strong foundation for school and life. These skills include conflict resolution, sharing, manners, empathy, self-respect, and respect for others. We proudly implement a blend of Teaching Strategies Gold, FunShine Express, and curriculum influences from Creative Curriculum. These approaches focus on fostering growth in key developmental areas: social-emotional, language, physical, literacy, cognitive, and communication skills. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, children are encouraged to explore, create, and learn at their own pace in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Our philosophy centers on the belief that children learn best through play and social interaction. By engaging with peers in meaningful play, they develop essential skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and emotional intelligence—skills that prepare them for success in kindergarten and beyond. Early Steps Learning is more than just a childcare program; it’s a place where children play, grow, and thrive. We provide a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment where every child’s curiosity and individuality are celebrated. Join us in shaping confident, compassionate, and capable learners!

She was awesome with helping potty training and was even teaching the children table etiquette. I can definitely say she helped me raise him since I’m active duty military and sometimes don’t have enough time with my child. She is awesome and i am so happy we got to spend... more

My son adores Ms. Karleen. She is kind, warm and caring. She provides an excellent early foundation of knowledge and education for all of her young charges. We could not have been happier with the time our son spent with her.
