My philosophy at Open Arms Child Care is that learning is ongoing. Learning occurs every minute of the day with planned and unplanned activities. Open Arms curriculum is designed to be developmentally appropriate from infancy through school age. Open Arms encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development every day. My program focuses on play and free choice for each child along with teacher directed activities and monthly theme units. I strive for a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and grow.
Open Arms is open from 7:15 am to 5:45pm.
I offer breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.
I use the app BrightWheel to provide daily information, for children in all day care.
Open Arms provides a preschool program from September through May for children at no additional cost to you.
o I have created a curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices.
o Some of the activities include arts & crafts, music, math, science, stories, games, as well as letter, shape, color, and number recognition in a monthly theme format.
Open Arms also provides fun activities during the summer months like crafts, water play, and spirit days.
I offer 1 free date night 4 times a year, for children currently enrolled in my program
