I graduated from Cherokee High School and have never stopped continuing my education which includes current AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED certification, National PPTP (Poison Prevention Training Program) Instructor, and Early Childhood Education TCC through CTC regional college. We are Certified Background checked, bi-annually inspected and safety certified through the state of Georgia to ensure parents that your child is always safe with us! I believe the path to a brighter future starts here by nurturing curiosity, confidence, creativity and compassion in everything we do at The Cornerstone Academy. My programs include: ​ Early Literacy Development through learning words, language, books and stories Creative Arts including painting, music, and numerous other activities! STEM based science including Gardening, building with LEGO style blocks, and more Early Childhood Mathematics including learning shapes, patterns, and counting Physical Development (Outside Time!) Relationship and social skills through interaction with peers ​ Another new and exciting addition to The Cornerstone Academy in 2018 includes our two Hatch Learning Systems! In a research study, children that used Hatch iStartSmart for thirty minutes a week statistically scored significantly higher than children in the control group on standard and percentile scores. Additionally, improvement on literacy scores and math scores were significantly correlated to time spent using iStartSmart."
