About Me
My name is Sara Dickinson. I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to be on the lake and doing crafty-things such as DIY’s or scrap-booking. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education early 2017. I currently have my license to teach birth-third grade. I have had the pleasure of staying at home with Landon, my son, over the past few months, and while I thoroughly have enjoyed that time, I am very excited to begin my career working with children. I have an abundance of previous experiences with children in settings such as daycare, field experiences and teaching in multiple grades.
Philosophy
It is my philosophy to provide you and your child/children with the best care possible. I strive to provide a space that is safe for your child/children to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. I strongly believe that by providing children with the correct toys and equipment, they will tend to learn and experiment by themselves. My main priority will be to provide them with the care and opportunities necessary for them to want to experiment. Social and emotional development is extremely important. I plan to provide children with opportunities to work with one another. I will use teachable moments to help children learn to communicate with other adults and children, along with helping them to find coping mechanisms for different emotions.
