All of our staff members meet the State Licensing Requirements of Virginia for child care providers. All of our lead teachers are certified in infant and pediatric CPR and First Aid and are experienced in Early Childhood Education. All staff members must obtain continuing education credits and participate in professional development trainings annually. Criminal Record Checks and Child Protective Service Checks are processed on each staff member. Criteria for employment also includes that each staff member has a tender, caring, and loving affection for children and a strong desire to encourage their optimal growth in all areas of childhood development. About Our Child Care Programs We provide daycare for infants 6 weeks and older. We have both full-day and half-day programs for preschool ages. For busy parents there is before and after school care. In the summer we provide a fun Summer Camp for school-age children. About Our Establishment We have a modern 5,000 sq. ft. facility. Our facility has a 4,200 sq. ft. fenced in playground. Capital Kids operating hours are from 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Two nutritious meals and healthy snacks provided daily. There is an internet camera for security and online viewing by Capital Kids Parents. Check in on your child at anytime you have access to the internet. Computers and gymnastics offered.
