ABC Home Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Alexandria, VA. Our family child care program is run by Rashida Perveen who has 13 years of child care experience and has a Child Development Associate degree. We are open from 7:30am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 3 years old, including children with special needs. We offer full time care. Our son loves it here. He's happy to go to daycare and is all smiles at pick up after having such a good day. We can tell that he really appreciates all of the outside time; the outdoor play space is large and has a variety of toys for play. Of course, learning and play happens inside too! Communication is great-- daily reports, scheduling updates/reminders, and pictures each day. Thanks so much!

We absolutely loved this caregiver. She was so great with our kids and they loved her as their caretaker. Her yard is the absolute best with plenty of space for the kids to run and play. That was important to us when we were looking. We loved that the kids could spend so much time outside. And her place is very clean and well kept. She was so kind and our kids loved it there. our kiddos (1 yo twins) love going to “school” with Ms. R.! They are happy to be dropped off and always smiling when they are there (we get photos throughout the day). The outdoor space exceeded our expectations when we decided homecare was best for our tots. We love it doe and highly recommend for babies and young toddlers.

This provider is wonderful! Charlie started going to her daycare when he was 5 months old. He is now 10 months old and he loves going and playing with his little friends! She treats him wonderfully. I love that she takes him outside every day to play in her amazing backyard. He always comes home very happy and well taken care of. Thank you!

The caregivers are both wonderful with our son. He started going at 9 months and the first two weeks were hard, as we expected, but they were so helpful in the transition. Now he has a huge smile on his face every morning when we drop him off and we can see how they care for him.

My daughter spent most of her life without having any contact with other adults because of the pandemic, so it was a bit hard for her to start at daycare away from her mommy and daddy. This provider is fantastic! Our son is excited to go to daycare every day. We get pictures each day of them doing different arts and crafts or other activities, and her outdoor play area is a wonderland for the kids.

My son has been in this provider's care for almost a year, much of that during the pandemic. Her daycare is extremely clean and she and her assistant take the safety and health of the children very seriously.

We started here just before the pandemic kicked off, and we chose to have our son continue going to daycare during the pandemic. We’ve been so happy and grateful for this provider during this time. We always felt comfortable with the safety measures she took. Our son loves it and always asks to go to this provider on the weekend. We would recommend this daycare without reservation.

My wife and I found this daycare on Google, and reached out as it was very close to our house. After the first visit, we were really compelled by her place. This daycare has been really good with looking after my son. He has been going to the daycare since July 2018 and it has been all positive. This provider, alongside her program assistants, provides a warm, nurturing, and structured program from young children to flourish. Our 16 months old son Theodore has been at this daycare for 5 months and everything has been perfect, the house is very clean and bright and the garden is a paradise for children this provider is always positive, kind and very organized, she does many different craft activities and games with the children and it is very easy to communicate with her, you should choose her daycare for your children, it's the best!
