Children's Country House is a unique day care facility for children ages 2-7. The school is situated in a Craftsman Style house built in 1909 on two-thirds of a wooded acre in the foothills of Altadena, California on the northern edge of Pasadena. The warm home-like atmosphere of Children's Country House's home in its natural setting with trees, grass, (and yes, even dirt) provides a stimulating early learning environment that incorporates the natural world including animals (a pony, goats, rabbits, and chickens), gardens, games, art projects, music, field trips, storytelling and dramatic play.
