Dear parents, welcome to Little River Square Playhouse, my intimate child care and preschool program in Annandale, VA. Nestled within the Little River Square apartment complex, my daycare is conveniently located right off Little River Turnpike and near the Columbia Pike intersection. Our proximity to local amenities like the Little River Shopping Center and major routes such as I-495 makes us the perfect choice for families who commute to work.

At Little River Square Playhouse, I embrace every child like a member of my own family. I am the proud owner and main caregiver of this home-based daycare and have over 14 years of experience in early childhood education. At Little River Square Playhouse, we cater to a diverse age group ranging from 1 month to 10 years. We offer full-time child care and preschool programs, each designed to foster development at every stage of your child’s growth. I know that your schedules can be varied, which is why I operate from 5:30am to 6:00pm. My extended hours are designed to accommodate the demands of your busy life, ensuring that you can rely on us for safe and loving care, no matter your schedule.

From infants to toddlers and preschoolers, our programs are tailored to encourage exploration, learning, and fun in a secure setting. Our daycare is a Spanish immersion program, allowing children to engage with this language through daily activities, stories, and songs, all conducted in Spanish. While I can communicate with parents in English, the program is mostly in Spanish, which is a great opportunity for your little one to learn a new language and culture, starting from infancy.

A key component of our child care facility is my commitment to nutrition. I like to show my care and love for children through food! I provide nutritious, well-balanced meals that include lunch and a snack, all included in the tuition. I strive to make meal times enjoyable and healthy, reinforcing positive eating habits.
