In a caring and positive atmosphere, we create a warm and happy place for pre-schoolers to learn. As we build a bridge from home to school, we guide children to a continued good self-image while building social skills in a school setting. Sensory, motor, perceptual and language skills are introduced through materials and activities which are both child-centered and teacher-directed. Work is planned with emphasis on the process rather than the product, fostering a sense of accomplishment and pride.Based on the theory that children learn through play, classroom routines encourage active involvement, meaningful experimentation and reinforcement through [redacted] a Christ-centered pre-school we believe that children are creations of God, with individual needs and abilities. Therefore, it is our desire to provide an environment which allows each child the freedom to explore and develop his or her individual potential in a caring Christian atmosphere of love and understanding. Our Pre-School was founded in 1968 as an outreach of Arcadia Friends Community Church with a vision of providing a ministry for the community to promote and preserve traditional family values. We are a non-profit school, functioning under the guidance of the church's Pre-School Committee.
