Mount Vernon Baptist Church Preschool, Arlington

We are a Christ-centered preschool with a strong academic program that has a focus on the joy of learning. Since opening in September 2016, Mount Vernon Baptist Church has provided preschool services. We believe that all children have big, important ideas and interest, which should be validated. Our teachers then use the children's ideas and interests as our curriculum to facilitate the children's learning and development in a play based environment. We accomplish this by giving the children a chance to explore the world around them, engage in meaningful relationships and activities and expand on their existing knowledge. We are blessed to offer a well-equipped facility with a secure, fenced outside play area and ample parking for parent drop-off and pick-up, conveniently located in Arlington on 23rd Street South near Crystal City, for our preschool. Our mission is to be a Christian preschool that supports parents by providing Christian training, child care, and early education which will meet the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of children. Our preschool will be a community based program and serve children ages 2 - 5.
