About Me:
Welcome to Campbell Little Playhouse, my small home daycare in Arlington, VA. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 11 years of experience. Child care is my dream job, I've always loved spending time with kids. They are so cute, I enjoy playing with them!
I decided to open a family child care program because children are my passion. I’m CPR & First-aid certified and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in child care and early education from my home country. As a mother of 2 myself, I understand your needs and concerns when it comes to finding a safe, affordable daycare.
Program:
My daycare facility is open year-round from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 4 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 3 years old.
I’m part of the USDA Food Program and I serve lunch and snacks to all kids attending my program. Due to possible allergies, I run peanut and tree-nut free environment.
Curriculum:
I believe that children learn best through Play, which is why I decided to follow the Play-based learning approach. My curriculum includes reading, arts, puzzles, and flashcards, and I also incorporate outdoor activities, singing, and dancing.
In addition to English, I speak Bengali and upon your request, I can expose your child to this foreign language (however, my daycare is not a bilingual program).
I send pictures and updates to families using the "HiMama" app. My daycare has lots of age-appropriate toys and learning materials, and plenty of windows for natural light.
Location:
Campbell Little Playhouse is in the Arlington Mill area of Arlington VA, near Campbell Elementary School. My home is right off S Carlin Springs Rd, near Glen Forest Elementary School.
I'm conveniently located since I have easy access to all these major roads: Columbia Pike (route 244), Arlington Blvd (US-50), Leesburg Pike (route 7) and S Glebe Rd (route 120).

We are very grateful to have found this daycare. The facility is always clean. No shoes are worn inside and the children are well cared for and happy. We feel so lucky to have found this caregiver! Our daughter gets so excited when we approach the door every morning and often gives her a big hug. We know she is safe, happy, and cared for here. We wouldn’t want to send her anywhere else.

Our two children are very happy at this daycare. Her love for kids shines through everything she does, and she makes our children feel cherished. The playroom is bright, clean, and full of fun and laughter. She makes healthy meals from scratch, and our toddler (who is suspicious of vegetables at home) eats everything she serves. She is a great communicator and sends photos and updates every day. We love her and highly recommend her daycare.

We love this provider and her family! My son is so happy with her - he's never fussed about leaving us and he's getting great socialization (even more important during COVID when he's had very limited opportunities to interact with people outside of our immediate family). This provider and her team loves our son like their own. Henry looks forward to seeing his teachers and friends every day. He comes home learning something new. We visited many, many daycare locations before finding this provider. As soon as we met this provider, she put us at ease and we couldn't be happier with our child's care. The space is clean and bright and she provides updates throughout the day. Our child loves going to daycare and it is such a relief to see him so happy with the other babies and this provider.

We could not speak highly enough of this provider! She has been nothing but caring, patient and kind to my child and our family. I was nervous about sending my first child off to day care, but this provider answered all my questions and has created a warm, fun and safe environment for the kids. The play room is bright with lots of toys and books, she has a separate, quiet sleeping space, and there is a fenced in outdoor play area!

This provider is a parent's dream come true.

I love the way this provider takes care of my baby. She is the best. I had no fear of the baby when she is with her. As am the new mother and it's my first child I always had doubts about daycares and I used to be scared about my baby. But this provider is the best so to speak. My husband and I are very happy with this provider, who has been caring for our son since he was 14 weeks old. It has been two months now, and our son is always happy to see her in the morning. Every day we get a photo of him, and he is always smiling. I have been sending my baby girl, Minerva, there since she was 8 weeks old, as of October 2018. This provider is caring, patient, safe and communicative.

My son went to this provider from 4 months old until 3.5 years. Her house was clean, she offered home cooked meals, and most importantly she not only taught my son but gave him love and affection. I had interviewed numerous at home day cares and the day I met with this provider I knew she was the one. My son has learned so much from her and I'm blessed to have found such a wonderful daycare. I highly recommend this at home daycare!

This provider has been watching my daughter since she was 3 months old and she's now 16 months. She also watched my son from when he was 3 months old to 18 months old. This provider is wonderful with infants and kids. My son was a preemie and so I was happy to have someone care for him who was able to give him so much attention. This provider is very loving and kind with kids and I'd highly recommend her for little children.
