Consuella Griffin Director Gwen Meyers Lead Teacher My name is Consuella Griffin and I am the founder of Happy Kids Learning Center in Birmingham. I have a duel Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Social Work. I also have a Masters degree in Public Administration. Happy Kids Learning Center is based upon the principal that children deserve to be safe and happy while in the hands of their childcare providers. My goal is to teach my students that people are different on the outside but the same on the inside. I want to reach all children with tender loving care while providing an environment that encourages creativity and learning. My staff was hired individually for their unique talents that they can bring to the students of Happy Kids Learning Center. Diversity is also welcomed for we live in a world where differences are prevalent yet we all have feelings and want to be included and understood. Special needs children are also welcomed here at Happy Kids Learning Center. We understand that diversity is more than skin color but it is also physical and mental differences. The name of the center helps to convey that we want your children to develop naturally and happily. We are accepting child care central and SCCP. Our hours are 6 am - 6 pm and we offer weekend care. One night out of the week, we offer Parents Night Out for an additional fee. Transportation services are available along with after and before school care. My staff is trained in infant and child CPR. We offer 2 meals and a snack.
