Pin Oak Children's Place is a licensed family child care and preschool program in Bowie. This in-home daycare is located in the Tall Oaks Crossing neighborhood, right off Pin Oak Pkwy. They are also close to Church Rd and Mt Oak Road. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since they have easy access to Central Ave (route 124) and Crain Hwy (US-301).
About The Owner:
The owner and main caregiver of this intimate child care and early childhood education program is a licensed provider with 14 years of experience. She’s a mom of 3 with a Child Development Associate's Degree.
She loves working with kids because they always put a smile on her face and their energy is contagious. For her, working with kids is very fulfilling because she gets a chance to see them grow and reach their full potential.
Program:
This home-based daycare and preschool is open all throughout the year from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. They offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 12 years old.
She provides peanut and tree-nut free snacks to all kids attending their program. Safety and COVID-19 procedures are strictly followed, including vacuuming and sanitizing every night. Throughout the day, Lysol is used to clean tables, highchairs, and doorknobs to maintain a hygienic environment.
Curriculum:
Pin Oak Children's Place is a Play-based learning program, which allows kids to learn through play and educational activities. The daily curriculum includes teaching ABCs, colors, shapes, and morning circle time. Children also learn body parts, fruit names, animal names, and the weather, along with engaging in arts and crafts. By the time children are ready to enter school, they can count to a hundred and write their names!
Children play outside twice a day whenever possible, and the daycare also offers fun extra-curricular activities, such as dancing, basketball, and soccer. In addition to English, the owner also speaks Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi and upon request, she can teach your child these foreign languages (her daycare is not a bilingual program though).

I highly recommend this provider. She creates a nurturing and engaging environment for the children, and I am amazed at how much my 2-year-old has learned under her care. From new words to counting, the progress is great. She takes the time to teach and interact with the kids in meaningful ways, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about their development. He frequently says he wants to go to school when he’s at home. I am glad he loves it there.... more

This provider has been caring for our son since he was going on 5 months. Of course, as any new mom we all have our fear of leaving your new born but she made it very easy for us. Since the initial meet & greet, she's been very communicative regarding all aspects of care and made us feel safe with our decision. I love that her facility is intimate and my kid always has a smile when I pick him up!

My daughter has been going to this Child Care for the past six months. The provider is very nurturing, my daughter is happy when she gets there. I can tell that she is engaged, she is almost twelve months old and comes home singing her ABCs that she learned in Circle Time. The environment is clean and I feel comfortable that my baby is in a safe space.

We love being at this daycare. She is very gentle and kind and the boys seem to really love being here. She has very good communication and is very respectful.
