Burbank Center For The Retarded is a year-round center in Burbank, CA. We are open from 2:00pm until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 3 years through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool and part time child care. We also have after school care for children up to 12 years old. We have extra curricular activities like self-advocacy training, independent living skills, basic academic skills, music, arts and crafts, body movement, nutrition, cooking and menu planning, self-care, health and hygiene, bowling, tennis and swimming, yoga, sit and tone, gymnastics, social skills, acceptable behavior, travel and mobility training, iPad classes, community integration/community resource awareness, safety skills, and daily living skills.
