Welcome to Burke Centre Children’s Corner, your child’s home away from home in Burke, VA! With 25 years of experience, I started this daycare out of a passion for nurturing and helping children develop. Coming from a big family, caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. As a responsible, loving, and protective caregiver, I understand that each child is unique and deserves individual attention. My commitment to cleanliness and organization ensures a safe and welcoming environment for your child.

At Burke Centre Children’s Corner, we cater to children from 4 months to 5 years, including those with special needs (please inquire for more details). Our hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and we're here to provide the best care and education for your little one. Our program offers Full-time and Part-time care, as well as Before School Care, and After School Care options.

Nutrition is key to a child's growth, and we provide all meals, including breakfast (for children arriving before 8:30 am), lunch, and snacks. We take pride in serving wholesome and delicious meals to fuel your child's day. At Burke Centre Children’s Corner, we believe in positive guidance. Our approach to discipline combines love, consistency, and firmness. We regularly remind our little ones of the daycare rules to ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone. We understand the importance of potty training and work collaboratively with parents to ensure a smooth transition for your child.

We are proud to offer a bilingual Spanish and English program, enriching your child's language development. Our activities are diverse and include arts & crafts, music, math, stories, and games. We also introduce letters, shapes, colors, and numbers through a monthly theme format, ensuring your child is engaged and learning in a fun way.

Our typical day starts with kids arriving and following in a routine of washing hands and enjoying a nutritious breakfast. After breakfast, we engage in arts and music, followed by outdoor activities. After lunch and a restful nap, we head to the playground for some fresh air and fun (weather permitting). Our activities are tailored to support walking stimulation for infants and young toddlers, and for the older children, we focus on learning shapes, words, numbers, and more.

Burke Centre Children’s Corner is located right off Burke Center Pkwy. Our full-floor daycare space is dedicated exclusively to child care, featuring a separate nap room, a fenced backyard, and a playground. Our location is ideal for families residing near Terra Centre Elementary School and the Burke Town Center shopping mall. With easy access to Fairfax County Parkway and Ox Rd, our daycare is a convenient choice for your daily commute.
