Shana's Keiki Care, Cameron

Hello my name is Shana Adams and I am the owner and Childcare Provider for Shana's Keiki Care (Keiki means child in Hawaiian). I am Licensed through the state of North Carolina and currently have a four star rating. My philosophy is that I believe that a child's early experiences enrich and stimulate future growth. Children deserve to be treated and respected as individuals in an environment that welcomes reason, exploration, question, and imagination. While in my care your child will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities, which will promote all aspects of development. I provide a home like setting; therefore I do not follow a strict routine. My approach to childcare is child centered and child directed. Children are offered choices whenever possible. I provide a safe,nurturing ,loving and fun environment. I provide nutritious meals( breakfast, lunch and snack). Throughout the day we will sing songs, read books, play games, do age appropriate educational activities, and have free play. I am also a mother of 4 beautiful children ages 11 through 21. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I've worked in the school system as a substitute teacher, a classroom aide and as a one on one aide.
