Spring Farm Children's House, Chantilly

Hello, parents! Thank you for your interest in Spring Farm Children's House, my home-based daycare and preschool in South Riding, Chantilly, VA. I am a mother myself and I have 10 years of child care experience. I am a professional child care provider and early childhood educator with CPR & first-aid certifications, as well as MAT training (so if necessary, I can administer medication to the children in our care). I’ve been running my own family child care and preschool program since 2008, and I am thankful to the many families who have trusted me with their children! Our facility is a perfect early learning environment with books and activity sets for both infants and toddlers, as well as walkers that teach numbers, letters etc.

My daycare’s hours of operation are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time child care for newborn babies, as well as toddlers all the way through preschoolers up to 3 years old. Our child care facility is in a large single family house, with a large backyard that has a playground with a swing and slide. Lunch and snacks are served to the children in my care (included in the tuition), and I can also provide dinner to the children who stay later than 6pm (regular tuition covers a 10-hour day). I participate in the USDA Food Program and due to possible allergies, I run a peanut-free, tree-nut free, and egg-free child care facility.

My family child care and preschool program follows a play-based early education approach, allowing your child to learn through play. I also teach children letters, the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors, and nursery rhymes. I have age-appropriate educational activities and make sure that children are prepared for school. I also teach them yoga! Babies have reading time as well as tummy time and various other activities that encourage sitting and pulling up along with many sensory activities (i.e. learning hot/cold, soft/hard, etc.) In addition to English, I also speak Hindi, Nepali and Urdu and if you’d like, I can expose your little one to these foreign languages. This is a wonderful opportunity to become multilingual at a young age (we are not a bilingual or language immersion daycare though).

Spring Farm Children's House is located near Spring Farm Cir, in the South Riding neighborhood of Chantilly, VA. My home daycare is off Poland Road / Herndon Ave (route 742) and a few minutes away from Lee Jackson Memorial Highway (route 50) and Sully Rd (route 28).

We practice healthy habits in our facility to prevent any type of diseases caused by germs and viruses. For instance, we make sure to prioritize handwashing after every activity. I also sanitize high chairs and tables in between activities and deep clean all toys at the end of the day.
