Our curriculum includes emergent reading, math, science and social studies. It is further enhanced with enrichment classes in creative movement, art, music, sign language and computers.
Our stimulating program encourages two-year-olds to develop their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment. By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that each child develops at their own unique pace.
The preschool curriculum is a kindergarten readiness program integrating all the basic knowledge needed to build a solid foundation of learning for the future. Your child is taught at his/her own pace and challenged through hands-on experiences, socialization skills and vocabulary development. Our program emphasizes creativity and imagination. The teachers really get to know each child in their classroom, and teach to every kind of learner whether it be a visual, auditory or experience learner. Each new concept is taught several different ways in order to reach every student.
Chester Junior Kindergarten program joins two curriculums; a Carson-Dellosa program called High Reach and the Exceed Preschool Curriculum. Both programs integrate language, literacy, math, science, music and art into your child’s day in a developmentally appropriate environment. The math units teach number recognition, graphing, sequencing, predicting and problem solving. The language portion teaches your child phonological awareness such as letter recognition, beginning sounds, and vowel sounds.
