Welcome to Greenway Village Children's Place, a nurturing and intimate home-based daycare and preschool nestled in the heart of Clarksburg, MD. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Greenway Village in Clarksburg, MD, our child care facility is right off Meadow Mist Rd and Little Seneca Pkwy (near Arora Hills Local Park and Hallie Wells Middle School). Our location also provides easy access to Frederick Rd (route 355) and the I-270, making child care drop-offs and pick-ups a breeze for parents.

As the proud caregiver of this licensed, I bring more than a decade of experience, and I hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing. As a mom of 2, and having worked as an assistant nurse, I learned firsthand the importance of safety and exceptional care for our little ones. Your child's well-being is my top priority, and I'm dedicated to ensuring a secure, loving, and engaging environment for each infant, toddler and preschooler entrusted in my care. As a caregiver deeply committed to each child's holistic development, I strive to create a nurturing environment where curiosity is encouraged, friendships blossom, and every milestone is celebrated. My dedication to your child's well-being and growth goes beyond mere childcare; it's a commitment to providing a home away from home, where your little one can thrive. Alongside English, I also speak Amharic, and upon parents' request, can provide an opportunity for early foreign language exposure.

At Greenway Village Children's Place, our philosophy is based on play-based learning, as we recognize that children absorb knowledge best through fun exploration and hands-on experiences. Our doors open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, offering flexible full-time and part-time care options for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Every child is provided with wholesome, peanut-free, and tree-nut free snacks and meals (already included in the tuition). Our welcoming townhouse is specifically designed to providing a nurturing space for your child's growth and development. The ground level has been dedicated to our child care program, with areas for learning and playing. Additionally, our outdoor play area offers ample space for fun-filled days. For extra fun, we can also go to the nearby community playground, fostering outdoor play experiences for the children.
