Creekside Kids, Colorado Springs

Creekside Kids provides high-quality early-childhood education for children 2 1/2 through 8 years of age based on the child's needs and interests in a Reggio Emilia inspired setting. Operating in Colorado Springs, Creekside Kids offers a flexible hourly and full time care for children who are not in the Cheyenne Mountain School District preschool system. We believe in flexible, child-directed learning in an atmosphere of exploratory fun. Since many of the children are already attending a preschool program, we focus on learning through long-term exploratory projects and the care of the "whole" child. Physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs are all equally important in the life of a young child and contribute to the growth of the child as a life-long learner. We are also proud to incorporate the Space Foundation STARS Program into our regular curriculum, focusing on early childhood education and the development of children beginning in pre-kindergarten.
